Examples of successful solutions:

Underwater Cameras
Camera systems for underwater robots. In collaboration with another renowned power plant operators we built an underwater robot which was capable of highly mobiled remote controlled diving. The moving camera and illumination provides excellent knowledge of, e.g, the pumps of supply or the fuel elements in basin which are in the nuclear power plants.

Driving of tools and vehicals from a distance
The special pan-tilt cameras give a vision to mobile vehical of manufacturer for security technology while driving as well as very good observation for the control of the moving arm and gripper. Wide angle images provide a good overview. The continuous optical zoom brings even the smallest detail on the screen of the remote control on command. Approach, identifying and working with the tool are optimally solved with only one sensor.

Probably the world's smallest industry videoendoscope with only 1,7mm diameter
A particular challenge comes to us through the demand of a power plant customer who needed a remote visual inspection in the shaft of the control rods with a gap of slightly more than 1.7 mm. The length of the shaft as well as the demand for the image quality which has to be achieved led us to the adaption of our proved DE sword camera series to the developement with 2 meters working length and 1,7 mm diameter. An innovation. With an special manufactured handlng system for this operation and under the observation by one of our SNK pan-tilt camera the maniature probe could be launched into the gap on control shaft. Previously the reports which were found by an eddy current inspection could now be good visible and assessed.

UV, insights viewed in a different light
Ultraviolet light makes visible what is normally hidden to the eye. The use of the fluorescent effect is a proven method in visual inspection to make visible the invisible micro cracks in the material or poor or invisible coatings on the surfaces. By testing objects which are inaccessible and therefore can be tested only with endoscopes and miniature cameras came this method however quickly to its limits and could not be used frequently. Low UV luminous by the illumination and optical system boundaries limited greatly the achievable results with such systems. These problems are solved with the development of INVIZ UVin.
Whether it is about the examination of cracks in the combustion chambers for turbines, the inspection of large volume cylinders or the search for deposits which concerns the health inspection in pipes and tanks.
INVIZ UVin provides yet the unmatched image quality, display and documentation capabilities in the ultraviolet light spectrum. Optionally the system also works in the visible spectrum. In addition to the exact selective filtering and display of the ultraviolet wavelength range at exactly 635nm a fading of the wave bands is also possible.
